“Mather of Time” captures the legendary William G. Mather steamship, now permanently docked in Cleveland as a floating museum. Photographed from below, the hull towers so large it feels as if it’s advancing into the room, making you feel small in its shadow.
I’ve always admired the Mather’s formidable presence, but it wasn’t until I layered vivid color and abstract geometry over the image that it fully came alive for me. The contrast lifts the ship out of simple nostalgia, turning it into something at once historic and surreal—part industrial relic, part dreamscape.
Currently Available a commanding 36"x48" acoustic panel that softens echoes and fills the space with quiet presence, or a luminous 12"x18" aluminum print that refracts light in ways a photograph alone can’t match.
