Photographed under the Weeping Willow at Edgewater Park in Cleveland, this piece continues the journey of its predecessors—not by repeating them, but by deepening the spell. The branches arc overhead like cathedral vaults, overflowing with emerald, lavender, gold and electric pink leaves under a teal blue sky. Light filters through in quiet explosions, making it hard to tell where nature ends and something more imagined begins.
This is the fourth evolution in a series that began during a season of personal reckoning. Every version of Renewal of My Spirit marks a step forward in that growth.

TIERFULLY SHATTERED explores the creative potential of intentional destruction.
The sculpture begins as a print collection of digital paintings. Each work is intentionally hand-cut into two-inch by two-inch fragments- permanently sacrificing the original image in pursuit of something it could never become on its own. The fragments are reverse-mounted to polished acrylic blocks, mirrored, and suspended within space, where light, reflection, and movement become integral to the work itself.
Viewed individually, each fragment carries only a trace of its former identity. Together, they form an entirely new composition that shifts continuously as the viewer moves. Images align and separate. Reflections appear and disappear. Light bends through the acrylic, creating relationships that cannot exist within a single, static image. No single vantage point reveals the whole. The sculpture exists as a continually changing experience, completed only through the movement of the viewer.
Tierfully Shattered explores intentional destruction as a creative process. It is rooted in the belief that transformation requires risk, and that the willingness to permanently alter something complete can reveal possibilities preservation could never achieve.

Cleveland is never static. It is rebuilt, reimagined, and reinterpreted through every generation. Crooked River Composition No. 26 transforms one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, Terminal Tower, into a layered composition of geometry, transparency, and color. At the center of Cleveland’s old Cleveland Trust Rotunda (now Heinen’s) is one of the most intricate stained glass domes in the country. Shot from directly below, Emerald Eye captures the full symmetry and surreal geometry of that dome in a single moment of alignment.
The green core draws your eye in. Radiating outward are golden beams and pale blue tiles, bordered with vine-like flourishes that nod to the building’s renaissance revival style. There’s a weightlessness to it, like a floating mandala made of glass.
Limited production matte-finished Chromalux aluminum, giving the piece rich detail with a non-reflective surface. You can place it directly across from windows or light sources without worrying about glare. The aluminum subtly responds to environmental light, shifting tone and presence depending on the time of day.

I turned my artwork Blue Sky Daydream into a repeating pattern built from the Tiffany stained-glass dome in Cleveland’s Heinen’s Rotunda. The geometry and color from that ceiling create the motif you see here.
Hermès scarves are loved because they pair serious illustration with superb silk, saturated color, and durable finishing. Many become collectibles because designs are issued in limited runs and printed on high-grade silk that drapes well and holds color for years. That mix of art, craft, and longevity is what inspired this piece. I waited until I could make a scarf in real silk that felt equally refined, with a design that is mine.

Why I love this design
The radial pattern from the rotunda reads as a medallion when folded.
Deep blues and violets anchor the palette; gold accents add contrast.

This scene at Wade Lagoon, nestled near the Cleveland Museum of Art, is proof that nature doesn’t need our help to be astonishing — but sometimes a different lens reveals what’s already there in new light. The hot pink trees burn with surreal energy, their color bouncing off the soft blue grass and glowing sky like an internal flame.
As with much of my work, this isn’t documentation — it’s transformation. It’s not just about what was visible, but about what was felt. The image bends reality just enough to invite you somewhere quieter, softer, and more vivid.
