Aluminum Artwork
Material that shifts with the light, holds your gaze, and asks you to pause for a second. More than something to see, these pieces are an experience that is felt.
At the center of Cleveland’s old Cleveland Trust Rotunda (now Heinen’s) is one of the most intricate stained glass domes in the country. Shot from directly below, Emerald Eye captures the full symmetry and surreal geometry of that dome in a single moment of alignment.
The green core draws your eye in. Radiating outward are golden beams and pale blue tiles, bordered with vine-like flourishes that nod to the building’s renaissance revival style. There’s a weightlessness to it, like a floating mandala made of glass.
Limited production matte-finished Chromalux aluminum, giving the piece rich detail with a non-reflective surface. You can place it directly across from windows or light sources without worrying about glare. The aluminum subtly responds to environmental light, shifting tone and presence depending on the time of day.
Through It. To It. Depicts a scene in a surreal world. A silhouette walks along the beach. A mirage on the horizon. There’s nothing to do but watch, through a window to another reality.
24x24 on Matte Aluminum - #2 of 5
This piece started with a quiet moment under a tree at Wendy Park on Cleveland’s Whiskey Island. The name wrote itself. Wendy Only Drinks Whiskey plays with place and tone—equal parts literal, playful, and reverent.
The focus is the canopy: a dense weave of emerald and ruby leaves that glitter in changing light. The branches lean and stretch toward the water, set against a surreal shoreline glowing in amplified color. The piece responds to its environment. Sunlight shifts it. Colored bulbs transform it.
Printed on matte-finished Chromalux aluminum, this 24x24 piece catches light without reflecting it. Even directly across from a window or light source, it won’t glare or turn into a mirror. Instead, it holds light softly—giving back more than it takes.
